How I work

Web site Becky 8I am trained as an Integrative Therapist, which means that I work with each person as a whole individual, working collaboratively with them to bring together different elements of specific therapies, as often there is no single approach that will be right for someone.

My aim is to create a safe, confidential space for you to explore what is important to you, tailoring a therapeutic approach for you. I can help you explore anxiety, depression, fear, panic, low self-esteem, identity and many other complex issues. I have particular experience providing therapy for bereavement, new mothers coping with babies including postnatal depression, and sleep disorders. You may want to look at aspects of your past or explore what is happening currently in your life, making it easier to navigate your future.

I offer both short-term counselling and longer, open-ended work. As well as my private practice, I work in the voluntary sector in a hospital setting, seeing people from a wide variety of backgrounds.

I charge £50 for a 50-minute session. Concessionary rates are available when there are spaces, please ask. I charge £35 for a 90-minute first consultation and assessment session.

I work within the BACP’s Ethical Framework.
